Would you like to have your website evaluated?  The requirements of search engines can change on a weekly, sometimes daily basis.  Will your site remaining competitive under these conditions?  Are you in line with the new search methods of Google?  (They completely changed in Dec, 2003.)

Evaluation goals:

  • Pleasing, professional site design and format?

  • Good keyword density on home page?  Is your keywording too obvious?

  • Good navigation of site - easy to find information?

  • Are your meta tag title, description, and keywords optimized?

    • Are they necessary?

    • Are they too long?

    • Are they considered spam to search engines?

    • Do they meet the new searching requirements instituted by Google?
(In Dec, 2003, Google began to penalize sites that were optimized for search engine performance.  Sites with little or no optimization and keywording are now being given preference - but for how long and will their new searching method remain in place or be changed as viewers clamor for better search results?)

  • Is your home page too long?

  • Does the information on the interior pages reflect the link name?

  • Are your links in the correct order?

  • Should you add additional links and pages?  Do you provide your viewers with additional information and links that relate to your business?

  • Should you consider custom promotion?

    • Does your site have a tracker?

    • Are you getting the hits you want?

    • And if not, where do you go for information to improve this?

    • What are the best directories to be listed in and how to find out?

    • Should you consider pay-per-click promotion?
